One of the biggest barriers we have in our society is that too many people still don't believe this. There is too much blame placed on others or experiences and not enough responsibility for creating our own happiness. People blame their disease, disability, education, geographical location, status, upbringing, family life, father, mother, or anything and anybody else as the cause of their happiness without ever coming to terms that they are the creators of their experiences. They put themselves in a victim-perpetrator mode with no vision of escaping that mentality. When we learn to appreciate all the perfect synchronicity in life and accept that what happens to us is for our highest good and our ability to expand our soul, life is not a struggle, difficult or painful, regardless of how the ego perceives it to be. Life is beautiful and when you wake up every morning you have the same choice everybody else does...you can be happy with who you are and where you are going or not. Either path will define who you are, but the question is, where do you want to be? If you want change, the only place that happens is within you.
